home2.jpgWhen buying any kind of property, we always need to consider the location. There are some properties that are strategically located, e.g. near schools or universities, groceries, church, hospital, in your workplace, etc. We need to consider these aspects to know if it’s worth spending. If you get a property far from the kids school, the question is are you ready to make sacrifices? Are you willing to take them to school everyday and fetch them afterwards? How about your work? Are you going to consume more mileage when going to your workplace? These are the usual questions that we should ask ourselves when location is being considered when acquiring a property.

The first time you walk into a prospective house, your eyes will take in everything. No, not everything. Just the parts that the natural light falls on beautifully. When you walk out, you will remember these areas of the house, and it will be magnified by your memory and imagination. Before you know it, you might be falling in love with the house and reaching for your wallet before your better senses catch up with you.

Natural light is important when considering what house to buy. Lighting can create a relaxed mood, offering a serene living space. However, lighting can also trick the eyes into not seeing the flaws of the house.

Try visiting the house at night. If possible, ask if you can spend a night in the house before you make any commitment. This way, you’ll see the house not only during its best hours. After all, when you finally own it, you won’t be living in the house only during daytime.

Drive along the neighborhood during daytime and nighttime to get a full assessment of the location. A place that seems safe and friendly in the day might not be the same at night. It’s better to buy the worst house in the best neighborhood than the best house in the worst neighborhood. Aside from comfort, one has to consider the safety of the family before settling on a place to move into.

This is the time that you are testing the market and envisioning for much bigger organization. But whatever you decide on, always consider the advantages and disadvantages. List them all down so you would be able to take note all the little details as well. You’ll never know what would be most ideal for the organization.

Moving out

Moving day is a day of uncertainty. To avoid the unnecessary hassle of transferring from a familiar living space into a new one, it is best to prepare in advance.

Go through your possessions beforehand. Give away, sell, or throw away items you no longer need. Moving into a new house is an opportunity for a new beginning. Try not to clutter your new house with items you know will do nothing but collect dust.

Be aware of the items you will need to purchase when you move into your new home. Shower curtains, draperies, or even toilet seat covers can be overlooked in the hustle and bustle of moving, but entering into a new house without these can make the move less comfortable.

Anything you won’t use before finally moving into your new house should be boxed and labeled. This is to make the transportation and unpacking of belongings easier for everyone. There is nothing worse than family members having a shouting match on moving day because they don’t know where their favorite stuff are.

Decide if you want to contact a professional moving service or move your belongings by yourself. Putting this decision off might place you in a stressful spot. Fragile or breakable things have to be handled properly, so make sure you give clear instructions to your movers.

More Parking Space

Saturday, March 8th, 2008

home5.jpgIf you have a vacant lot within the business district but cannot afford to build and develop high rise buildings, another alternative would be parking lot. Easy to maintain yet profitable income. Simply think of the heavy traffic everyday going to the office. Car owners would be needing a parking space for about eight to ten hours a day and will not take any chances to park their vehicles elsewhere. And yes, some companies are not offering free space, or others has limited slots alone. All you need for this business venture are parking attendants, security guards, and a maintenance personnel.

Billboard Space

home6.jpg  Billboards are all over the place. Like any other form of advertising, billboards are eye-catching and when stuck in traffic, you’ll keep hold of the information over time. Might be a good reason why advertisers are investing on this announcement. It may not be as costly as the television commercial but the retention to consumers is apparent. Considering the heavy traffic that car owners and commuters are experiencing everyday, it is impossible to miss one poster. But there are reports too that it causes accidents from time to time. Perhaps, we should not be overwhelmed with so much glittery and colors to avoid such incidents.
